Information We Collect

My Zodiac collects the information you submit to generate astrology readings, including birth dates, birth times, birth places, current location coordinates when you allow them, horary questions, and compatibility form data.

We also collect basic analytics data such as page views, event type, browser user agent, referrer, and a hashed visitor identifier. This helps us understand which pages and tools are being used.

In the internal metrics view, horary questions are shown without a reading URL or visitor identifier, alongside a coarse location estimate made by rounding coordinates. Obvious email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, and social handles are masked in that view, though names or other identifying details typed into a free-text question may remain. The exact location and original question continue to be stored with the reading to calculate and display the requested result.

If you choose to email yourself a completed reading, the site uses the verified email address available in your browser; the recipient cannot be changed in that request. The email contains the reading and links to view it on the site and explore the other reading tools. The mail server's acceptance of a message does not guarantee delivery to your inbox.

To prevent repeated sends and help troubleshoot email requests, we keep limited delivery records. These contain the reading type, a pseudonymous hash of the recipient address, the request outcome, and timestamps, rather than the reading content. A hash is not fully anonymous and may still be treated as personal data.

How We Use Information

• To generate birth chart readings, daily horoscopes, horary answers, and compatibility reports.
• To confirm an email address you provide and send a completed reading when you explicitly request it.
• To maintain site functionality, debug errors, and improve the user experience.
• To measure traffic and performance through internal analytics and optional third-party analytics if configured.

Third-Party Services

The site may use external services for language model generation, email delivery, analytics, advertising, or infrastructure. When you request email confirmation, your name and email address are sent through the configured SMTP mail server to deliver a single-use confirmation link. When you request a reading email, the completed reading and verified recipient address are submitted to the configured SMTP mail server. Data sent to external services is limited to what is needed for the requested feature.

Data Retention

Generated readings and analytics events may be stored so result pages can be revisited and the service can be improved. Limited reading-email delivery records are used to prevent repeated sends and troubleshoot requests. You may request removal of a specific generated page if you control the URL and provide enough information to identify it.

Your Choices

You can avoid sharing current location by not granting browser geolocation permission. For astrology tools that require location data, the reading may not be generated without it.
